Essential Oils and Carrier Oils
Essential Oils are distilled from the leaves, bark and roots of botanicals. Carrier Oils are pressed from the seeds, nuts and or kernel. They are often used in combination with essential oils to transfer elements of essential oils to skin safely.
About each oil used in the creation of Essential No. 9:
Tea Tree - Antifungal and antimicrobial properties can clear follicles to allow oxygenation while preventing excess oil build up.
Rosemary - Promotes circulations, stimulates hair growth, also may help dry itchy scalp.
Thyme - Promotes hair growth by stimulating the scalp and preventing hair loss.
Peppermint - Prevents hair loss, stimulates hair thickness and hair follicle strength.
Cedarwood - Balances the oil producing glands of skin, antifungal and antimicrobial.
Lavender - Promotes hair growth, antimicrobial, reduces inflammation, balanced fragrance.
Jojoba - Vitamin C, B, & E, copper and zinc, promotes thickness and strengthens hair.
Coconut - Prevents breakage and split ends and provides shine
Almond - Fatty acids, healthy moisturization, omegas and locks in moisture for longer periods of time.
Jamaican Black Castor - Ricionleic acid, Omega 6 fatty acids and increased blood circulation and improves hair growth.
Avocado - Oleic acid, monosaturated fats and penetrates hair shaft.
Patchouli - antifungal, antibacterial, balances dry skin and dandruff, anti-inflammatory
